Yes, we would love to meet you! Pick up days are the only days that we allow visitors into our home.
For the most part, we can be pretty flexible if you are not able to pick up your puppy the day they turn 8 weeks old. Please be sure to schedule with us in advance though.
-
If you are not able to pick up your puppy in person, we do work with several ground transportation and flight nanny companies. You may also research and hire a different company if you prefer. Just make sure to have them reach out to us so we can make sure we our schedules match up.
If your puppy needs to be taken to the airport to meet you or a flight nanny, there will be a $100 fee.
We do NOT ship our puppies cargo.

Training FAQs
-
At 8 weeks old your puppy will not be fully potty trained. However, we do introduce them to their potty area around 3 weeks old when they are up and moving around.
By 8 weeks old, puppies are using their potty area and keeping their bedding and play area clean.
We also take frequent trips out to their puppy play yard (weather permitting) so they are used to going potty outside too.
-
No, your puppy will not be fully crate trained. However, we do introduce an open-door crate to their pen around 5 weeks old to help familiarize them with it.
We do offer a puppy kindergarten program that does work on crate training though!
-
Yes, we are currently offering Puppy Kindergarten with different training options. You can learn more under the “More Info” tab at the top of our website.
What is the Application Process?
-
Once you have read through our website, please fill out the application under the “Puppies” tab on our website. Once that has been submitted you will automatically receive a link to this “Application Process” page.
After your application has been reviewed, we will reach out via text or email.
-
Depending on whether or not the puppies have been born, there are two different ways that our deposit process works.
A $250 reservation fee is required if the litter has not yet been born. Rather than a master list, we manage individual waitlists for each planned pairing, giving families the opportunity to be on as many as three different waitlists. Once the litter is born and individual pictures have been sent (usually within the first three days), the remaining deposit (totaling $500) will be due if you choose to remain on that litter's reservation list.
Please note: if you do choose to stay on that specific litter, then you will be removed from any others that you were on. If for some reason you do not choose a puppy from that litter, then the deposit may be transferred to another reservation list and you will be placed in the next available spot on that litter.
If the litter is already born, then the full $500 deposit will be required to secure your spot on the reservation list.
Deposits are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another litter.
-
For litters that are not yet born, you will be updated on the breeding (if it hasn’t taken place), the confirmation of puppies, and when puppies are born. Once the puppies are born we will work through our waitlist to see who plans to stay with that litter or switch to another. Once you have been notified (and received pictures), then the remainder of the deposit is required if you are staying on that litter’s reservation list.
You will receive weekly picture updates from ages 1-4 weeks old. After 4 weeks of age, you will receive pictures and/or videos (typically both!). We are VERY busy with our puppies so please try and refrain from asking for constant updates. I promise we will send you as many as we can!
-
Puppy selections are done when they turn 5 weeks old and this goes in order of deposit. We will send pictures, videos, and descriptions of each puppy to help you make your decision. We are also available to FaceTime if you’d like!
We do NOT allow selections to be made in person.
-
For the next few weeks we will continue to send you pictures, videos, and updates on your puppy. Again, please refrain from asking for additional pictures and videos. We will send as many as possible!
After selections are made, you will also receive emails regarding the food your puppy is eating, the vitamins we give, our recommended online training program, and more info to get you off to on the right start with your new 4-legged family member! You will also receive a copy of our Puppy Contract for you to review and sign. If you’d like to see the contract prior to placing a deposit please reach out via email @ ksdoodlesofoz@gmail.com and we will send you a copy to review!
-
We accept the final payment via Quickbooks, Venmo, or in cash. These are the ONLY forms of payments we accept.
If you would like to pay electronically OR are having your puppy shipped to you, then the balance is due ONE week prior to going home. There may be some exceptions to this if you just placed a deposit and the pup is already ready to go home
We ONLY accept cash on the day your puppy is leaving. No matter whether you are meeting us at the airport or coming to our home. ONLY cash will be accepted on pick up day - NO EXCEPTIONS.
-
The final, and probably most exciting step is finally getting to bring your new puppy home! This must be scheduled with us ahead of time. We try to be as accommodating as possible and do allow families to come most days of the week.
Please note that weekends are harder to accommodate, especially in the afternoon. If needed, we can meet at the airport on weekdays only for an additional $100. Both MUST be scheduled with us beforehand to make sure we are available.
