WHAT IS AN AUSTRALIAN LABRADOODLE

An Australian Labradoodle (ALD) is a combination of the Labrador Retriever, Poodle, and Cocker Spaniel (both American and English). Though some older lines may also include the Irish Water Spaniel and/or Curly Coat Retriever. They were developed in Australia in the 1980s with the goal of creating an ideal service and therapy dog that’s intelligent, gentle, and low-shedding.

Often mistaken for the classic Labradoodle (Labrador x Poodle), the Australian Labradoodle is a unique, purpose-bred dog with a charming personality and a silky, low-shedding coat.

Is it important to note that there is absolutely NO Australian Shepherd (Aussie) in this cross.
