PUPPY CURRICULUM 0-8 WEEKS

Our goal is to make your puppy’s transition from our home to yours as smooth as possible which is why all of our puppies are raised on a puppy curriculum from 0-8 weeks.

ENS/ESI

We start with early neurological stimulation (ENS) and early scent introduction (ESI) from days 3-16. These exercises help puppies have a higher stress tolerance, greater resistance to disease, increased cardiovascular strength, and more!

POTTY PAD TRAINING

Starting at 3-3.5 weeks old, the puppies are introduced to a potty pad area. We give them about 3-5 days to explore using this area before we add the grate on top.

DESENSITIZING

As they get older, they are introduced to new textures, sights, and sounds daily. We also do tollerance building exercises. These include touching their ears, paws, tails, and even petting up their back (like a younger child may do). They are also introduced to nail trims, baths, being blow dried, and face and fanny trims. We want them to be tolerant of all kinds of touch and not fearful of new objects or sounds.

SOCIALIZATION

Our puppies are handled by us daily and are also introduced to new people of all ages during their first 8 weeks of life.
